Young college student
Hey, I’m Jennifer, a junior at F.I.T. in N.Y.C! Me and my roomie live in Chelsea. We love the galleries, food trucks, the High Line, the Piers, the Market - for sure, the street scene. You won’t believe what we saw yesterday...
I love the look of “distressed” jeans. Saw these and got out the shears and paint bucket……Going full on Edward Scissorhands/Jackson Pollock!
Granny Mona told me "some day my prince will come". Looks like his train just left the station!
Whaaaa? Friends, neighbors, children and pets, fellow Americans - do not allow this to happen. We deserve better. Preserve our Democracy. God Bless America.
It’s the of last of Chanukah 2020 (or Hannukah, or Hanukah, or Chanukah, or
Channukah) - the Jewish Festival of Lights. Latkes and jelly donuts eaten, dreidls spun, candles
lit and gifts exchanged. In Hebrew the word means dedication, candelabra, and heartburn
- oy vay!!
So when my granddaughter, Jennifer, is not giving me agita, I venture out on my own – like to a RuPaul Drag event. And you’ll never guess who I met! Finally - someone with a head on their shoulders!
I was getting ready to take Jennifer out for lunch when the strap on my handbag broke! Grandma, she gushed, there’s a handbag sale going on at Bergdorf’s. Let's go! Hmmm. Not exactly what I was expecting!
Super fun Latina
Hola chicas. I love going to the mercado verde. Everything is farm fresh (there’s even a few fresh farmers!) Now I need a new tote. Here’s the perfect one!
Mama worked all day cooking, shopping and chopping to prepare the meal
-pernil, rice and beans, avocado salad and – my favorite, flan. Of course,
Papa took all the credit!
